Almost on the border with the Maestrazgo region is the Alto Maestrazgo Skyline Viewpoint, popularly known as the goat viewpoint, as it is a mandatory stop on The Silent Route. There we can take a selfie with the logo of the route and contemplate the “Sky line” of the Alto Maestrazgo in all its splendor: a gigantic tableau of mountains, hills, clouds, forests and masses that on winter mornings are completed with the fields of mists rising from the valleys. The great fire of 2009, which devastated a rich vegetation cover that is now struggling to be reborn, opened an extraordinary window for us to contemplate the territory that The Silent Route runs through.
